About Joe

I combine freelance writing with my main job as Communications Officer for the Learned Society of Wales.

In my freelance work I focus on sport and business feature writing.

My background is in online sports journalism, having been Deputy Sports Editor at AOL and the Daily Express’s website sportlive.co.uk.

Prior to moving into the internet, I worked on a number of sports magazines, as production editor for International Media Products and sub-editor at Lawrence International.

I am also a local Councillor on Cardiff Council.
